The Christ consciousness, the God Force, the Tao, the Buddahood, the ‘Infinite Self’, whatever you care to call It, runs through all things.
It flows through the life force of plants, trees, animals, humans. . . it is everywhere. It has no definitions.
Only the ego needs to define, quantify, measure and discriminate in order to create a framework to life, so it can feel secure and comfortable with what little it knows.
The act of defining life limits your perception of it.
Ridding yourself of definitions of high, low, good and bad is the first step toward grasping the indefinable nature of the Infinite Self.
This can be a bit upsetting for the ego, because the ego likes the idea of my body, my house, my vehicle and I’m not anywhere else but here. In the strict physical sense this is true.
However, in the realm of consciousness, your energy is bigger than mere concepts of my body, my life, my house, my boat. . . and, you are everywhere, and yet nowhere.
You dwell in the realm of Spirit!
As you go past your resistance to letting go of the ego definitions of life, you begin to comprehend yourself as an omnipresent, eternal being that dwells in a multidimensional state both timeless and immortal.
What this means is. . . you existed before you came to this Earth plane, you exist now in the physical form, and you will exist after you leave here.
Since you are reading this article you probably already know that spiritual growth and the getting of a higher consciousness is not necessarily easy or convenient.
Neither can be reached from within the considerations of the ego and its limited consciousness. Many of your beliefs and attachments will have to be discarded.
You also have to travel back through the psychological and metaphysical reality of who you are and the memories of what you have done in this lifetime. This can be quite uncomfortable.
Through discipline, meditation, opening yourself up, moving beyond fear and coming to a more compassionate understanding of this planet you begin to comprehend your Infinite Self as a FEELING.
This raising of your energy has to be done gradually over a period of time.
Even though someone or something can inspire you or teach you, in the end the only way you can sustain a higher energy level is to create it for yourself.
Again, this involves discipline. It involves continuously working on yourself. There is no particular time when you can say you are finished.
Eventually you will be able to FEEL eternal, immortal and infinite.
Embracing Your Infinite Self is a continuous process which unfolds within you forever!
